Recent Events: At around 6:32 am on 7/12/19, Dissent suffered an attack due to vulnerabilities in its user registration system, this allowed malicious users to inject rogue SQL scripts that allowed them to make certain changes to the site. Our team quickly handled this intrusion and within 20-30 minutes we patched the issue and rolled back the server. We think this was a valuable lesson and helped us to be more mindful of our security. During this breach, no personal information was leaked, only a few subverses were temporarily affected.
